...for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter into it.

These haunting words of Jesus lay resonant in hearts all over the globe, yearning for others around them to find the way, the only way, to life.

Jesus Himself is the narrow gate.

What's so striking in imagery about a narrow gate, like the one pictured above as an example, is that it lends itself to passage of one individual at a time.

While a broad road, and a gate that's wide will allow crowds to pass without much regard, a narrow gate puts the focus on the one passing through.

The one.

It's personal.

Jesus again gives us a visual of this personal, individual mode of interaction:

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."

Imagine, if you desire to go in and have a meal with somebody, engage with them for awhile and spend time...

When you knock, what's going through your mind as you stand there in front of the door?

Anticipation? Interest?

Longing to see the person, or something similar, right?

Jesus is interested in, and longs to see you opening the door for Him to come in.  He desires time, and fellowship with you.

You matter to Him.

You matter enough for Him to dramatically and triumphantly rescue you from certain destruction.

From everlasting destruction.

From the broad way that many will find.

Open the door.

TODAY, IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS"

Feel encouraged, please, to browse not only the pages of this site, but a bible of your own (if you have one. if not, a page is dedicated to assisting you to get your hands on one), and learn Him.  Learn everything you can about His thoughts, His cares, and His ways. They're so much higher than our own, and He loves you.  He truly does love us all.
